Sight of any documentation relating to the SHAs
recognition of Leicestershire County and Rutland PCT as being in
'special circumstances' with regard to their financial position and
within the context of practice based commissioning
guidance.
Our Response
I refer to your
email requesting documentation in respect of Leicestershire County
and Rutland Primary Care Trust (PCT) as being in ‘special
circumstances’. I must apologise for the delay in responding
to you.
I can confirm in
accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 that
we do hold some of the information that you have requested which I
have included as pdf attachments.
The PCT was
placed in turnaround, by the SHA Director of Finance based upon
annual accounts for the PCTs predecessor organisations in
2006/07.
As a result the
Account Director wrote to the PCT to formally confirm the process
for review of the Turnaround plan for 2007/08

Having searched
for the relevant information, I can confirm that there is no
specific correspondence between NHS East Midlands and the PCT
regarding PBC budget setting.
