Please can you
also break down the figures to show the amount spent on NHS
communications departments and that spent on external
communications consultancy.

I refer to your
email of 28 January asking for the total amount spent by NHS East
Midlands on communications in:
- 2005/2006
- 2006/2007
- 2007/2008; and
A break down of
the figures showing the amount spent on NHS communications
departments and that spent on external communications
consultancy.
I can confirm in
accordance with S.1(1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, that
we do hold some of the information that you have requested and this
is shown below. However, please note that we do not hold the
data for periods prior to 2006/07 as this was before the formation
of NHS East Midlands. I should also point out that the
2006/07 figures do not reflect a full year’s costs.
