Request

Further to the recent answer by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Health Services) in recent Parliamentary Questions. The Department has published the "National Service Framework for Long term

Neurological Conditions" that detailed service provision for those living with long term neurological conditions, including migraine and severe headaches.... The SHAs now have the responsibility for

commissioning and ensuring the provision of health care services to meet the local needs of those living in their local population living with headaches"

Please would you provide me with the following information:

1. What is the figure for the number of people in the East Midlands SHA region who are recorded as suffering/ known to suffer from headache disorders?

2. What action has the SHA taken to put into practice the "National Framework for Long Term Neurological conditions?

3. How many specialist headache disorder nurses are the in the East Midlands SHA and to which organisations are they attached?

This request is made under the Freedom of Information Act.   Your help on this, and your response at your earliest convenience, would be much appreciated.
