- Annual spend on telephony includes
call charges, exchange lines, telephone switches and support,
telephone handsets, voice and data networks etc
- Annual expenditure on ICT support
services for 2007/08
- Annual spend on support
services includes IT consultancy, maintenance and support
services etc
- Annual expenditure on outsourced ICT
services for 2007/08
- Annual spend on outsourcing includes the
delegation of non-core operations or jobs from internal production
within an organisation to an external entity (such as a
subcontractor) that specialises in that operation
- Total value of ICT assets
- The number of ICT staff

Our Response
I refer to your
email requesting information in respect of NHS East Midlands
Information and Communication Technology.
I can confirm in
accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 that
we do hold most of the information that you have requested which I
have included in the attached pdf document. The numbered
points in the table refer to each of your questions.
However, in respect of the initial number one question, NHS East
midlands does not have an ICT Plan and therefore this document in
not included.
