I refer to your email requesting IT related information.
I should point out that our Strategic Information Management and Technology (IM&T) directorate is active in influencing the national agenda for the NHS National Programme for Information Technology (NPfIT) whilst supporting local NHS organisations. The directorate has a strategic role in ensuring appropriate implementation of these services thus ensuring that they are exploited to the full in the delivery of modern patient-focussed care.
