I am sending this request under the Freedom of Information Act to ask for the following information:
For details of any reported serious untoward incidents involving the theft of drugs from any hospital premises, specifically botulinum toxin over the past five years.
For each reported instance please detail which hospital the theft was from, and any details about the incident, including whether the drugs were recovered and whether anyone was caught/prosecuted for the theft.
Our response
I refer to your email requesting information in respect of serious untoward incidents.
I can confirm in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) that we do not hold the information that you have requested.
Following an extensive search of our systems we have been unable to find any serious untoward incidents involving the theft of drugs from any hospital premises over the last 5 years.
