How many of the staff at your authority claim private health insurance as part of their employment?
What is the annual cost to the authority of offering this perk to staff?
When did the authority start to offer this perk to staff?
Please provide information about the level of cover and name of provider.
Our Response
I refer to your email of 18 October requesting information in respect of private health insurance claimed by staff as part of their employment with NHS East Midlands.
I can confirm in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) that we do not hold the information that you have requested.
NHS East Midlands has not offered private health insurance as part of any employment terms and conditions of service throughout the period 2005 - 2010. We therefore have no associated costs in terms of your query.
