I would like to know how much NHS East Midlands spends on providing translators for people who do not speak English as their first language and how much of this watsed by "no shows" for appointments.

I refer to your email requesting information in respect of translation services. 

I can confirm in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) that we do not hold the information that you have requested.
