Health and Social Care Awards

For the regional Health and Social Care Awards please can you provide:

1) The total cost to your SHA for having these regional awards in each year where figures are available

2) Where possible,please break this cost down as in the below table (i.e. cost spent on the ceremony, on advertising, on lunch/dinner etc).

Our Response

I refer to your email of 28 July 2011 requesting information in respect of the regional Health and Social Care Awards.

I can confirm in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) that we do hold some of the information that you have requested which can be found in the pdf attachment.  

Our current financial systems do not record any details relating to the Health and Social Care Awards prior to 2009.  We are also unable to provide any details of events prior to 2009 as the staff involved in organising these events have now left the employment of the Strategic Health Authority.

As far as we are able to ascertain, costs incurred in 2009 in connection with the facilitation of the Health and Social Care Awards are provided in the attachment.
