I refer to your email requesting information in respect of finished consultant episodes relating to obesity.
I can confirm in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) that we do hold the information that you have requested.
The data in the table below shows patient counts of finished consultant episodes (FCEs) in the admitted patient care data set, split by age, where the primary diagnosis is ‘Obesity’.
For 2010 -11 we only have data for months 1 -8 at this time.
The difference between counts for patients registered in the region and treated shows a small outflow of patients for treatment outside the region.
