We are a company which provides training for non-clinical staff, mostly within the NHS, and have done so for over 20 years. In the past much of this work has been commissioned through the local PCT’s however due to the many changes going on at the moment this is becoming increasingly impractical. On account of this we feel it would be easier at this moment in time to contact GP practice managers directly with information about courses, preferably by e-mail.
If you are able to provide us with e-mail addresses of practice managers within the North East this would be very much appreciated! I have checked both your website and the NHS choices website and whilst contact details of GP practices are provided it would appear that e-mail addresses are not. If this is not the case and I have overlooked them I would also be very grateful if you could point me in the right direction!
I realise that e-mail addresses can be seen as ‘personal information’ and there is a certain reluctance to give them out however I can assure you that should you provide us with the information requested we will use it sensitively and will certainly not be ‘bombarding’ people with e-mails. Should anyone indicate to us that they do not wish to be contacted by us we will take note of this and cease contact immediately. Neither will we publish or share any details which we receive.
Our response
NHS East Midlands does not hold the information requested in respect of GP practice email addresses in either the North East or East Midlands which is the area that we are responsible for. This information is held by constituent Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) who you can contact via our website at the following link:
