I refer to your letter requesting information in respect of NHS East Midlands’ policies and how they compare to those suggested by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). Your letter was received in this office on 8 September 2011 and has been passed to me for response.
I can confirm in accordance with S.1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) that we do not hold the information that you have requested. I should point out to you that NHS East Midlands does not have policies which relate to the issues covered by NICE guidelines. However, constituent Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) and the East Midlands Specialised Commissioning Group (EMSCG) may well hold the information that you have requested.
