demonstrating that the Standards for Supervision are being
met;
- To ensure that there are relevant
systems and processes in place for the safety of mothers and
babies;
- To ensure that midwifery practice
is evidence-based, and practitioners are clinically
competent;
- To identify that midwives
communicate effectively within the multidisciplinary team;
- To review the impact of supervision
on midwifery practice.
