Competition Dispute Resolution

NHS East Midlands has set up a Competition Dispute Resolution Process, based on the national Principles and Rules of Cooperation and Competition. The Competition Dispute Resolution Panel will handle disputes about the application of and adherence to these principles and rules.

The Department of Health website has more information about the Principles and Rules for Cooperation and Competition.

The Competition Dispute Resolution Panel will want to be sure that every possible method of solving the dispute has been exhausted before it will submit a complaint to the NHS East Midlands’ Competition Panel.  This means that any complaint or dispute about competition must be referred to the Primary Care Trust concerned in the first instance.
