Now in their ninth year, the Health and Social Care Awards reward innovative practice and inspired ideas that have a real impact on patients and service users across the region and nationally.
Two of the six national awards winners were from the East Midlands - fantastic news! Think Home First in Northamptonshire won the Success in Partnership Award and the Medical and Mental Health Unit in Nottingham won the Mental Health and Wellbeing Award. More details, contacts and film clips can be found below.
For the regional heats, we had 150 entries over the 7 categories, all of them exhibiting the dedication and skill of staff and individuals in the social, health and voluntary sectors across the East Midlands.
Twenty-one projects were shortlisted and we congratulate each and every one for their success in reaching the final. All the projects showed tremendous energy and commitment to improve the lives of the local population of the East Midlands.
Six of the seven winners went forward to represent the East Midlands at the National Awards on the 18th November (the Living the NHS Constitution Award was a regional category only). Congratulations to you all!
